BIMM Bristol are delighted to invite you to your well-deserved graduation ceremony. Over the past three years, you’ve shown curiosity, taken creative risks, collaborated with others, and learned from industry professionals. Now, it’s time to come together and celebrate all that you’ve achieved.The Graduation Ceremony, followed by the post-ceremony After-Show will take place at The Bristol Beacon (Trenchard St, Bristol BS1 5AR), on Tuesday the 2nd of December.****PLEASE COMPLETE ALL SECTIONS OF THIS WEBSITE TO CONFIRM YOUR PLACE AT THIS YEARS GRADUATION.
Attendance Confirmation Form
To confirm your attendance, please fill out the attendance confirmation form by November 10th.THIS FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT BY THE STUDENT BEFORE AND IN ADDITION TO PURCHASING GUEST TICKETS!Please note:
Students who are graduating are automatically assigned a ticket upon passing their degree and completing the above form. No purchase is necessary.
Guest Tickets Information
Cost:
Attendance for students who are graduating is FREE.
Tickets for guests are £20 each.Guests with Children:
Children aged five and under do not require a ticket but must remain seated on their carer’s lap throughout the ceremony. Children aged over five will need their own ticket to attend. We kindly ask that carers of younger children remain mindful of noise during the ceremony, and if necessary, step outside the auditorium to avoid disruption and ensure everyone can fully enjoy the event.Guest Ticket Limits:This year marks the first time our graduation ceremony will be held at the Bristol Beacon. Owing to the venue’s increased capacity, we are pleased to confirm that there will no longer be a limit on the number of guest tickets available per graduand.Seating Information:
We will not be assigning specific seat numbers to ticket holders, so we encourage you to arrive early on the day to secure your preferred seating. The Beacon is a beautifully designed venue, and every seat offers an excellent view of the stage.Accessible Seating:
If you require accessible seating, please select the relevant option when booking your tickets using the link below. We will ensure that guests requiring accessible seating are accommodated alongside their friends and family.Financial Support for Tickets:
We understand that ticket costs may be a concern for some families. If you would like support with purchasing tickets, please email [email protected]
to discuss your circumstances. The Student Wellbeing Team will liaise confidentially with the Events Team to confirm eligibility, after which we may be able to offer a discount or waive the ticket fees entirely.
Ceremony
This year, all courses will come together for a single graduation ceremony, bringing our entire community into one celebration. The ceremony is expected to last approximately one and a half hours and will feature speeches from key members of staff, a special guest keynote address, live performances, and the formal conferring of awards.Please note that timings are subject to change. Beacon Hall
Robes
You can hire your robes online with Ede and Ravenscroft. Please do this sooner rather than later, as robe hire will be more expensive on the day and your size may not be available unless pre-booked.Robing will take place at the Beacon and will be available from 10AM to 1:30PM. This is a flexible window, so you don’t need to arrive at 10AM unless you have scheduled your photos for when they open at 10:30.
Please allow plenty of time before your photos or the ceremony to have your robes fitted. Please allow approximately 20-30 minutes for robe fitting during peak times, as there may be queues.Robes will not be sent to you; they will be delivered directly to the venue, ready to be picked up and fitted.Please note that Ede and Ravenscroft is an external company, so any questions regarding robes should be directed to them through their contact forms on their website.Robes are optional; however, if you choose not to wear them, please dress smart, as this will be a formal event.
ROBE HIRE IS CURRENTLY BEING SET UP. PLEASE CHECK BACK IN ONE WEEK TO BOOK YOUR ROBES. YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE AN EMAIL UPDATE ONCE ROBE HIRE IS AVAILABLE.
Photos
You can book professional photos through Lafayette Photography. To ensure you get your preferred time slot, please make your reservation early, as popular times fill up quickly.Each booking includes options for both an individual photograph and a family portrait. Be sure to specify your preferences to the photographer on the day of graduation during the session.Your photos will be available to order online after the ceremony, once they have been edited. Lafayette Photography and/or BIMM will email you when your photos are ready to view.There will be a £10 booking fee for photography; however, if you place your photo order before 31 January 2026, this fee will be fully refunded. Lafayette Photography will provide a code to process your refund.Please note that Lafayette Photography is an external company, and all photography-related queries should be directed to them via their website using the link below.
Graduation After-show
All graduates and guests are warmly invited to join us for an after-show event in the Bristol Beacon's Bridgehouse. Enjoy complimentary drinks and canapés while you take in live performances and DJ sets from our graduates and an awards ceremony hosted by BIMM Bristol course leaders.More details about the event will be provided soon.
